1. Overview of Our Services

TicketLane is a platform that allows event organizers ("Organizers") to plan, promote, and manage events while enabling customers ("Buyers") to purchase tickets. We act as a payment facilitator and booking platform but are not responsible for organizing or managing events directly.

2. Definitions

Key terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:

• "Organizer": An individual or entity that creates and publishes events through our platform.
• "Buyer": An individual or entity purchasing tickets or registrations for events via our platform.
• "Platform": The TicketLane website, mobile application, and related services.
• "Ticket": A digital or physical proof of access to an event purchased through our platform.
• "Service Fee": The additional fee charged by TicketLane for facilitating ticket transactions.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using TicketLane, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian if required by law.
• You have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
• If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not access or use our services.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of TicketLane, you may need to create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized use of your account or any security breach.

You are responsible for all activities conducted under your account and may not share access with others without permission.

5. Ticket Purchases and Refunds

When purchasing tickets via TicketLane, you agree to the following:

• Finality of Sales: All ticket purchases are final unless otherwise stated by the Organizer. Refunds for cancellations, rescheduling, or material changes are at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
• Facilitation Role: TicketLane acts as a facilitator between Buyers and Organizers. We are not responsible for the content, quality, or fulfillment of events.
• Refunds: In cases where refunds are processed, these may exclude booking fees or service charges. Refunds are issued only with Organizer approval.

6. Terms for Organizers

As an Organizer, by using TicketLane, you agree to the following terms:

• Payment Collection: TicketLane will collect ticket payments on your behalf and may charge a platform fee for each payout unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
• Payout Schedule: Payouts to Organizers will be issued within 7 days after the conclusion of the event, unless otherwise agreed upon with TicketLane. Early payouts, where approved, may incur additional fees.
• Refunds and Transfers: In cases of event cancellations, rescheduling, or other changes, TicketLane will assist in processing refunds or transferring tickets to another event as per your instruction. Additional fees may apply for these services and will be communicated in advance.
• Event Cancellation: If your event is cancelled, you are required to notify both TicketLane and ticket holders promptly. Refunds to Buyers will be processed using the funds you received from ticket sales.
• Compliance: You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding event management and ticket sales, ensuring the accuracy of all event-related details provided through the platform.

TicketLane reserves the right to withhold payouts in cases where disputes arise, fraudulent activities are suspected, or event cancellations occur, until the matter is resolved.

7. Service Fees

TicketLane charges service fees for facilitating ticket purchases and may charge additional fees for processing refunds, early payouts, or other services. These fees are displayed at checkout for Buyers and outlined in agreements with Organizers. All service fees are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Engage in unauthorized resale or distribution of tickets.
• Provide false or misleading information about events or tickets.
• Interfere with the operation of the platform or compromise its security.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations while using the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

TicketLane is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for event cancellations, rescheduling, or other Organizer actions.
• We are not responsible for disputes between Buyers and Organizers.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Malta.
