Referral Terms
These Referral Terms govern participation in the TicketLane referral program (the “Program”). By participating in the Program, you agree to these Referral Terms in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, these Referral Terms govern the Program.
1. Overview
The Program allows existing organisers (“Referrers”) to invite new organisers (“Referees”) to sign up on the Platform using a unique referral link or code. If the eligibility conditions in these Referral Terms are met, the Referrer and the Referee may receive an advertising credit as described below.
2. Eligibility
- Referrers: Must be registered organisers with an active account in good standing (no suspension, fraud flags, or overdue obligations).
- Referees: Must be new organisers who have not previously created an event on the Platform and have not previously held an organiser account.
- Valid referral attribution: The Referee must use the Referrer’s unique referral link or code at the time of registration (or any other step specified by the Platform). Attribution is determined solely by the Platform’s tracking records.
- Compliance: Both Referrer and Referee must comply with the Platform’s Terms of Service, organiser terms (where applicable), and all applicable laws.
3. Referral Reward
- Credit amount: Subject to these Referral Terms, the Referrer and the Referee will each receive a €20 advertising credit.
- When it is earned: The credit is earned only after the Referee successfully completes their first paid event on the Platform, meaning (i) at least one ticket is sold through the Platform, and (ii) the event has concluded, and (iii) the related payout window has completed without unresolved chargebacks, fraud investigations, or refund obligations that (in the Platform’s reasonable view) affect eligibility.
- Use restrictions: Credits can be used only for advertising/promotional services offered through the Platform, are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for cash or applied as a payout substitute.
- Expiry: Unless otherwise stated in the organiser dashboard, credits expire 12 months from the date they are applied.
4. Credit Issuance
- Credits will be applied to eligible accounts within 14 days after the Referee’s first paid event is successfully completed, subject to verification.
- The Platform may require additional information to verify eligibility and may delay issuance while verification is pending.
- The Platform’s decisions regarding eligibility, attribution, timing, and issuance are final to the extent permitted by law.
5. Limitations
- No self-referrals: Self-referrals and any attempt to create multiple accounts to receive credits are strictly prohibited.
- One referral per Referee: A Referee may be attributed to only one Referrer. Duplicate, split, or disputed attributions will be resolved at the Platform’s discretion.
- Caps: The Platform may cap the number of referral rewards per organiser per month or per calendar year, and may change caps over time.
- Geography and availability: The Program may not be available in all regions and may be limited based on legal, regulatory, or operational constraints.
6. Misuse, Enforcement, and Termination
- Abuse: Any manipulation, abuse, or attempted abuse of the Program (including fake events, sham transactions, refund cycling, chargeback farming, voucher abuse, or misleading promotion) may result in disqualification, forfeiture of credits (including already-issued credits), suspension of organiser accounts, payout holds, and/or other enforcement action permitted under the Platform’s terms.
- Termination or suspension of Program: The Platform may modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, with or without notice, including for legal, fraud, operational, or business reasons.
- No liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform is not liable for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or other damages arising from Program changes, suspension, termination, or eligibility determinations.
7. Promotion Rules
- Referrers must not misrepresent the Platform, the Program, or credit value.
- Referrers must comply with applicable marketing laws (including consent requirements for email/SMS marketing) and must not spam, harvest contacts, or use purchased lists.
- The Platform may prohibit specific promotion channels or methods at any time (e.g., paid search on branded keywords, deceptive ads, or impersonation).
8. Changes to Referral Terms
The Platform may update these Referral Terms from time to time by posting an updated version on this page. Continued participation in the Program after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Referral Terms.
