"A funny, original, class act" - The International Times

"Effortless charm" - London Pub Theatres Magazine

"An hour well spent" - The International Times

Fresh off a successful Edinburgh Fringe festival run where reviewers called him a "star of the future" and "a name to watch out for", Lebanese comedian Karl Dagher brings his show Big Dumb Smile to Malta for one night only of hilarious jokes and anecdotes. Karl has been doing standup since 2018 in comedy clubs across Brussels, London, Munich, Lagos, and Beirut, and he has opened for international comedians from all around the world, like Glenn Wool, Anna Akana, Nataly Aukar, and Victor Patrascan.

He has been praised for his conversational tone and for his ability to entertain without ever raising his voice or saying things to shock.

Here's what audiences had to say about his show:

"Laughs guaranteed"

"Aside from being hilarious, Karl's show feels like a real good time with a friend"

"Great combo of lived experiences and observations where the punchlines landed strongly and consistently"

"Standup is an incredibly difficult craft to master but Karl certainly has a natural talent for it"

"He had us laughing all the way through, and the crowd work was great as well"

"Cracking show, so smooth and conversational"

"The funniest thing ever. He makes it look so easy when it extremely isn't"
